Is Qnet Safe or another Multi-Level Marketing Company REALLY operating as a Ponzi or Pyramid Scheme?
I’ll cut right to the chase, Qnet is NOT 100% safe, and here’s why I say that as part of the “what is qnet scam controversy” - Back in 2019, according to Wikipedia, India Qnet faced legal action and/or arrests when police began an investigation of the suicide of a former techie owing to alleged losses suffered after investing Indian Rupee 25 Lakh in Qnet Ponzi Scheme. This guy enrolled six members and was under Extreme pressure to enroll more members, as his family claimed.
So the police had written to several investigating agencies including:
- Reserve Bank of India
- Enforcement Directorate
- Income Tax Department
- Serious Fraud Investigation Office
- Registrar of Companies, India…
About how the firm was running numerous Ponzi Schemes and had created THOUSANDS of investors across the country. Insane, right?
The story goes on and on and you can read the rest of it here on Wikipedia, but to address the point of “Is Qnet A Pyramid Scheme”, No it is not. The company operates as a direct selling business opportunity like ANY other MLM/Network Marketing company where you get paid on selling products and recruiting(duplication) of team members.
Now, I’ll continue with my personal review(Michael Granados) of Qnet as a whole, but if you’re anything like me and don’t want to spend your time scrapping for chump change and don’t want to waste hours, months, and years of energy in an MLM only to see you haven’t made much money(usually the case), then I recommend you get on with things and check out my #1 business model online where you can ALSO build a legitimate business promoting ANY product you wish(without having to own it).
By the way, if you were interested in promoting health and wellness products without being tied down to a company’s products, and having the freedom to earn as much as you’d like, then check out my Free Healthy Affiliate Cheat Sheet where you’ll get EVERYTHING you need to build, grow, and scale your health business(link)

QNet Reviews
How Much Does QNet Cost?
QNet has a variety of Membership Categories and Fees:
- Personal: $145
- Corporate 1: $225. $100 fee for additional representative
- Corporate 2: $455. $80 for additional representative
- Corporate 3: $675. $60 for additional representative
- Charter: $2,000. $50 for additional representative.
So you can see it is NOT cheap. Like most network marketing/MLM companies, you’ll have to pay, and to be honest, most people do not even recover their cost.
Who Is QNet For?
QNet is made for people who feel like they will enjoy network marketing/MLM by promoting health and wellness products, lifestyle products and more while at the same time focusing largely on recruiting people.
Here’s more:
- Beginners who like the Network Marketing Model and want done-for-you marketing resources so you don’t have to start from scratch.
- Intermediates and experts who’ve tried network marketing/MLM and failed or another business model and want to give it another shot or opportunity to sell different products/grow a team.
- Health-conscious individuals who have a passion/hobby/interest for promoting health products.
- Moms and Dads
- Retirees
- Students
Who’s It Not For?
- People who don't want to spend most of their time recruiting people
- People who don’t want to be restricted to a company’s products
- You don’t want to spend a lot of money upfront to be a member
- You want to actually make good money
Pros And Cons
Pros:
- You can promote a lot of different products in the health and wellness space, home and living, technology and more.
- Decent compensation plan
- An opportunity to own your own business
Cons:
- Products are not the best
- Too focused on recruiting rather than selling of the product to make good earnings.
- Hard to make decent money unless you are recruiting and spending a lot of time doing unattractive things.
- You need to be referred to sign up.
- You have to pay a membership upfront.
Alternatives
There are definitely greater alternatives, so I’ll begin with one of my favorite network marketing companies and then get into my #1 recommended business model, okay?
For Network Marketing:
Now for my #1 recommended business model online that allows you to promote ANY product you’d like without being held to only a companies products, or having to pay upfront for some membership while promoting physical and digital products is called Affiliate Marketing.
With Affiliate Marketing you can promote other people’s products/services and get paid what you’re worth without having to worry about owning the product, holding inventory, or being a techie person…
And my recommendation is this:
If you’d like to promote health and wellness products, then check out The Healthy Affiliate…
What I Liked Most About QNet
I’d have to say you get some done for you marketing resources like:
- Social Media Resources
- Multilingual Business tools and Marketing Materials
This way you can get something to start with. But keep in mind, everyone is doing the same thing so to a point it gets saturated so you’ll have to change the way you market. There is training but I don’t believe it’s the best…
There are far better ways to market.
What I Liked Least
Hmm, I’m going to sound very unbiased but trust me I’m not - I just don’t like the whole Ponzi scam that was going on…
It gives the company a bad reputation. Also, the fact that you have to be referred and then buy a membership that is somewhat costly, it makes things less attractive to me. I guess now that I know there are better ways to grow an online business like with Affiliate Marketing being one of those…
I just have a whole different perspective.
Final Verdict: Is QNet Really Safe?
Yes. The Ponzi situation was just a fraction and now that everyone has moved on, Business is just carrying on as usual. Qnet itself is not a Ponzi scheme or a pyramid scheme as you were able to see from today…
There are health and wellness, and lifestyle products to promote you could be happy with, but listen to this - You better get used to recruiting people because network marketing/MLM’s are mostly about duplication…
And the more you can bring people under you and have them train others so they can do the same, you’ll benefit most. However, I do think it’s a VERY high uphill battle to get to what you want to earn because whenever I did Network Marketing for example…
I’d recruit people and train them only to find out they were not recruiting anyone and if they did, they weren't training them, why?
They could have been demotivated, life got in the way, etc...But that’s why I really dislike any network marketing company and why I focused my attention on better online business models and if you’re anything like me and want a better business model that’ll pay you what you’re worth, give you more financial freedom, your time back, and let you live life on your own terms, then click the button below…
