What Is Aweber?
Every time I ask myself that question in my head, I always happily respond back with a "What is it not"?
Aweber is an email marketing software automation(key word there being automation) tool that lets you make a connection with 1, 100, 1,000, 100,000+ people, all depending on how many you can get to subscribe to your list that is.
Other than a video or blog, I don't see another way you can build a "full" relationship with an audience online, you'd literally have to know someone in person, and that's a challenge trust me.
It's said that the average person takes 7 times to make a purchase, and if you're not driving people to subscribe to your email list, you're losing 99% of the battle to make sales, but more importantly Trust from the end user.
Owner Tom Kulzer crafted an email tool that let's you sit back, sip on the Kool-Aid, all while your subscribers receive messages day-in and day-out...
Aweber is often times refereed to an autoresponder because it manages and sends out emails to your list automatically. Hence the term Autopilot.
When we're talking brands and trust, Aweber is by far the most trusted email automation marketing software there is, and the reason I say this is that it's beginner friendly, and you don't have to be a technical wizard to understand, and use it.
Numerous of Entrepreneurs recommend and take a stand for it, some of those being like Kyle and Carson, highly successful internet marketers and founders of Wealthy Affiliate.
Check out what one of the top affiliate marketers and my mentors Kyle has to say about it:
When Is The Right Time To Use Aweber?
You wouldn't guess how many times in a single week I get asked this question, and my answer is always the same...
Right away. I know you're standing here and saying to yourself "well I haven't even started a blog,or a YouTube channel, let alone do I have the skills to go out there and get people onto my email list Michael."
Don't worry, I've made it super simple for you, so that by the time you were to leave this review, you'd have at least your first 5 subscribers!
The biggest problem that an email autoresponder like Aweber will solve for you is that you don't have to be present every day setting up emails one-by-one and getting stuck deciding what will work and what doesn't...
Since most email autorepsonders companies these days have a tutorial on how to use great emails that convert.
Us bloggers are usually the ones asking this question and that's because we get so caught up on the focus of writing content that email marketing is only a "myth" at the beginning. I made the mistake of starting an email list way too late!
Around my third month into blogging and SEO I came to the realization that I didn't just need eyeballs on my content, but conversions like:
- More leads
- More sales
...And I wasn't getting the job done. Traffic(people) to my website began to increase, where I was getting over 20 per day(good for only a 3 month website) but I had a problem.
I wasn't trying to capture people's emails! YIKES. Every single one of these people were reading my information but not one of them ever made it beyond step 1:
STEP 1: Read my blog
STEP 2: Capture their email
STEP 3: Follow up with offers
1 out of 3 is a failing grade in the school and online marketing system. I quickly had to pick myself up. Shortly after reading through a various amount of reviews for email marketing tools I started with one, but It wasn't the one you think.
At first I began with an email automation marketing tool plugin called SumoMe...
SumoMe Vs Aweber
Before I ever touched Aweber, my journey began with SumoMe, another email automation software with unique features of its own.
What I liked about SumoMe was that it had a free basic version and that it came with capture pages so I can easily get a persons email and onto my email list. I Loved the service and I wouldn't have thought about converting to another email automation tool if it wasn't for one thing.
I needed a better follow up sequence. With SumoMe, I was able to capture my audiences information with eloquent themes, but I wasn't managing them onto a specific list, or was I using much of the automation benefits that come with an email autoresponder.
So what I did was I added Aweber as a third party. This is where the whole ball game changed.
SumoMe had an integration feature with third party services, and fortunately for me, Aweber was an add-on. After I integrated Aweber with SumoMe, my conversions blasted!
People were being "funneled" to different list, I had a stronger follow-up sequence, and I was making sales...faster.

Going Inside Aweber
Are you ready to see the actual inside of Awebers inner-workings? What about seeing my own?
I'd like for you to have your first 100 subscribers in less than 30 days, and I will do my best to get you there, but I was a newbie once too, and it took time at first.
But like my mother always told me, where there is a Will, there is a?...
Way, you guessed it. I'm going to start off with showing you:
- the dashboard
- ways to create sign-up forms
- managing and creating lists
- Creating your first Campaign
- and so much more!
And if you stick around till later on in the review, I'll help you create Systems in place so you can realistically reach your first 100 subscribers in those 30 days.
I'm a man who practice what he preaches(a practioner) and I want to show you the inside of one of my accounts. What you're looking at here is my dashboard when you log in.
On the left hand side you have the account overview which shows you your subscriber stats. It looks like I had 5 subscribers the other day.
To The right I can choose to create a Message, look through my scheduled broadcast if any, and if I scroll down, I can see what is called a "List stats". This shows me how many people are subscribing to my lists. See below:
The important part to all this is making sure your ascending up the hill in adding more people to your email list. The more people you have, the more people you can reach with your messages, and the more people will buy(I'll explain more of that a bit later).
STEP 2: The Menus.
Let me show you what Menus you have and how you can best use them.Looking above the fold, you'll have a similar looking menu header to mine with a couple of exceptions.
From left to right starting on the first row you have your "Current List" Menu. This is where you'll be able to select which list you want to manage and work on(if you have more than one). Having more lists simply means that you are using different strategies and "baits" to get people to subscribe.
Thereafter, you can followup with people accordingly to what they opt-ed in to receive from you.
If I have a form on my website that says "free training reveals how to lose 100lbs in 30 days vs one that says "free Keto Diet book inside", you'll likely have two separate list.
To the right you can add any integrations(if you have a WordPress plugin like SumoMe, you can easily integrate it. Then you have Help, and your account.
Let me show you what I mean by integrations:
