30 Day Blog Reviews
Rather than just hear it from me first, let me show you the trend among what other people are saying:
Now here are the REAL ones, and according to truspilot:
What Is The 30 Day Blog Challenge?
The 30 day blog challenge is created by Matt who says he and his program will teach you how to make money with a blog within the next 30 days.
Over the next 30 days, you’ll be sent a daily video on what to do and how you can get visitors, leads, and sales so you can be successful.
Going Inside The 30 Day Challenge
First of all, the creators of this challenge are called “30 Day Blog Challenge” and they show everyday people how to start a successful blog and build an online business that helps people create the life they want.
So there’s this page you’ll then see where Matt will introduce you to the 30-day blog challenge:
As I mentioned under “what the 30 day blog challenge is”, Matt will walk you through what to expect. And here’s another video just in case you wanted to see more:
Underneath this video will show you who they work with:
- Bluehost
- WordPress
- Constant Contact
Ad Partners
- Bing
All these big brand names might make the course sound better but it’s really just a way to sell you on why you should partner with them which isn’t really all that useful in the end.
The next step is to click on the “Red” Accept Challenge Button and you’ll get this page:
Put in your details, click submit and then this happens:
Matt will have a video ready for you where he will tell you how you can make a passive income with, and the differences between a Free and Paid blog like:
- Support for Free blogs are nonexistent
- Google will not rank them
- You can not run ads
- Free blog services will shut down your blog at any time
Immediately you're told to create a blog by getting a:
- Domain. With Like GoDaddy
- Hosting. With Bluehost
Honestly isn’t wrong but It brings up a red flag
Red Flag #1: Get A Domain And Hosting Right Away
Every course, every blog post, every YouTube video, and EVERYTHING else online you’ll 99.99% of the time have someone trying to sell you on starting your blog right away…
- Pay for a domain
- Pay for hosting
And I get it, You’re probably thinking let me start fast, BUT HOLD UP!
This is where YOU can end up wasting $100’s and especially $1,000’s of dollars! Here’ what I mean…
Are you even sure you want to buy a domain for a site you’re not 100% sure about moving forward with in the future?
Of course not! I made this mistake early on, I didn’t know if I truly wanted the same domain name and or keep the site after a few tries of writing.
And Immediately you’re being told the pricing and that you should start a blog? Make if you’re not a newbie, but no thanks.
That’s why I recommend starting with a FREE Sub-domain website and FREE Hosting and the ONLY place to combine these two with real training on how to promote other people’s products and service and make $1,000’s+ worth in commissions is with the following program:
Anyways, On this same page you’ll be walked through a 15-minute blog setup guide with screen shorts in 5 Steps:
STEP 1: Open Bluehost
STEP 2: Select A Bluehost Hosting Plan
STEP 3: Choose A Domain Name
STEP 4: Create An Account
STEP 5: Package Information And Add-Ons
This is a very easy way for these people to earn commissions from you, and exactly how EVERY “affiliate” in the blogging space is trying to make commissions from you…
I even reviewed another legitimate program called “Create And Go” and they have a free blog walkthrough where immediately they want you to pay for a domain and hosting…
And while it works for them and it may benefit you, I don’t think getting a Paid domain and the WRONG type of hosting is the way to go before you’ve even researched and or tried out a free plan.
That’s why I created the One Blog Post Away Challenge that walks you through how to do it but not until weeks in, listen in…
Before I even get into the alternative section, I made a 30 day blogging challenge where I’ve reversed engineered EVERYTHING about putting a wildly profitable blog together in less time than you’d think and I show you not only how to pick a domain and hosting, at the RIGHT time but also:
- How to build your mindset first
- Building offers
- Building an email list
- Sales funnels
- And so much more!
That by the time you put your blog together you’ll be a master at this.
30 Day Emails
Once you sign up for the program you’ll get an email from Matt and the 30-day blog team:
One thing I hate is when you get the following emails but CAN’T continue with the challenge UNTIL you’ve pad for:
- Your Domain
- And Hosting
It’s dumb honestly, and now that they have higher package plans, it makes it even worse trying to think about. This is a big reason why people associate it as a 30 day blog scam.
How Much Does The 30 Day Blog Challenge Cost?
You can get started for free for the first month and then there are paid plans:
- Pro monthly membership at $39.00 every 1 month and a $0 sign up fee
- Pro Yearly membership at $399.00 every 1 month and a $0 sign-up fee
- Pro Lifetime membership x 1 at $1,999.000
Who’s The 30 Day Blog Challenge For?
This challenge was created for people everyday people who want to start their first or even second blog and want a 30 day challenge for faster results.
Here’s more:
- 9-5 workers who want to get out of their job or get a part-time and even full-time home-based business
- Moms and dads
- Retirees
- Students
Who’s It Not For?
- People who want updated material
- People who don’t want to pay thousands for a course
- People who don’t want to pay for domain and hosting right away
- Tire kickers
- Fast money seekers
Pros And Cons
Pros:
- 30 days to build a sustainable money-making blog so you can have a long-term business which means you’ll have the knowledge and know how on how to take action.
- Tools and resources so you can maximize getting targeted people to read your blog post which means you’ll always get people who are interested in you.
- Simple step-by-step walkthrough on how to build your blog and increase it after which means you don’t have to worry about getting lost
- Reviews from other people
Cons:
- Not completely free and if you keep it, it could cost you $1,000’s!
- You have to pay for a domain and hoisting straight out the gate to continue
- The content isn’t all up to date for Today's times.
- Many complaints
- They don’t cover every aspect of blogging
Alternatives
Luckily there’s one close and really good alternative like:
I’m the creator of this challenge where I’ve reversed engineered the whole process of putting a REAL money-making blog step-by-step...Without having to pay for a domain and hosting right away which will benefit you in the long-run.
What I Liked Most About The 30dayblogchallenge
There are a few things to like about the challenge:
- Learning the ropes on how to build a blog you can monetize
- Tools and resources to get your blog together
What I Liked Least
I didn't like how you can get started for Free for ONLY a month and after you have to upgrade but even worse is the fact that you can’t move forward with the challenge unless you pay for your domain and hosting at the very beginning.
Plus these:
- the course is not all up to date to what you need TODAY.
- Using Bluehost
Final Thoughts(And Next Step)
What was your favorite and least favorite part about the 30-day blog challenge?
There are upsides to it like it’s been well established for many years, the content is helpful and you can apply it to a money-making blog but with the ups come to the downs…
Getting content that is out of date, you have to pay for a domain and hosting before moving forward, and the fact that a blogging challenge should have WAY more than just teaching you how to make money like with mindset and more…
That’s where it lacks. If you’re someone who doesn’t want to make mistakes after mistakes, waste many years of making mistakes, then I highly recommend you take a look at my 30 Day One Blog Post Away Challenge by clicking the button below.
