Youngevity is a health and wellness Multi-Level Marketing/Network Marketing company created by Dr. Joel Wallach who’s put together more than 2,000 products across 6 top consumer categories with the goal of helping you live a healthy, balanced, and more joyful life.
There are a few other names I’d like to throw out there for who acquired stock shares in Youngevity and own part of the company such as:
- Carl Grover Youngevity. He owns 5%+ in the company.
- Barb Pitcock Youngevity. Barb was an accountability partner with Youngevitry. She would post videos and messages on her Facebook profile/page about losing weight and holding yourself accountable. It looks like she’s moved on to another company now with
- Youngevity partner in alliance with “Livinity” which is another direct-selling health and wellness company with a strong focus on pain management, stress relief, and energy.
Going Inside Youngevity
Let’s take this from the top by seeing the home page:
I just want to throw this out there - the home page doesn’t look well designed, it could be confusing to navigate around for someone unfamiliar with the site so from the start I’m already put off.

Youngevity is a network marketing/MLM company that encourages you to sign up as Youngevity Independent Distributor and make money promoting their products as well recruit people in. I’ll get into the home business opportunity later below and reveal my REAL thoughts but let’s continue with the products first.

Youngevity had a long-running dispute against Wakaya Perfection and several of independent defendants having filed a lawsuit in 2016 and while I don’t have the full extent of the story, I do know that Wakay Perfection does not exist anymore and had been bought by LaCore Enterprises and rebooted as Bulavita.

The answer to this question depends on the products, you can spend a few $20-$100+, and the higher the quality as well the bigger the packs, the more you’ll spend. And for the business opportunity side of things, you don’t have to pay to get in BUT you have to keep paying to receive certain commission bonuses.

Alternatives
There are DEFINITELY better alternatives especially when we’re talking business models, but what I’m going to do first is show you another MLM alternative:
- HB Naturals
I used to be a part of HB Naturals CBD BUT I haven’t been 100% focused on it because it’s just too WILD...You don’t get rewarded/compensated well enough for the time you spend, so I would avoid this and ANY MLM, and listen to this next part.
I left network Marketing to focus my 100% efforts on a better business model that would allow me to promote ANY Health product and ANY other niche product that I wanted without having to hold inventory, own the product or be a “techie” person…And that’s through the Affiliate Marketing Business Model.
For Affiliate Marketing:
My personal favorite is Healthy Affiliate because you’ll get a step-by-step PROVEN process to build a REAL health business in any niche of your choosing and make HUGE commission in less time. What I Liked Most About Youngevity
For what it’s worth, I do like some of their products - they’re life-changing on the fact that people are generating better health and wealth in the process. I really like how you can get certain packs, bottles, a bundle of products in one…
It makes healing yourself much simpler and easier of a process to go through.
What Did I Like Least?
I don’t like their Network Marketing/MLM business opportunity to be an independent distributor because it’s just WAY too much work to justify making any significant money. This is the problem with ALL MLM’s…
You put in a lot of work to try and sell the products which is a huge difficulty on its own, then you have to focus on recruiting people and that’s where most of your money will be made BUT...Too many people you end up recruiting don’t take action and you’re now sitting on a couch frustrated why you’re not making anything.
Although I did mention "The First Option" which is a segment of Youngevity, it’s not an MLM, and it’s not what Youngevity is, so that’s why I recommend it especially since I’m going through it right now.

We think our health will JUST get better if we don’t do anything, but it could be in a matter of seconds where you’re just kicking and screaming off the top of your lungs because you’re hurting. And then there’s also the MLM business opportunity side of things - You can earn as an independent distributor BUT it comes at a cost. You’ll have to really dig deep to make connections and then train your downline to do what you’re doing so you can make any significant money…
