What Are Affiliate Programs?
Affiliate programs are parts of an online and even offline retailer where they pay the affiliate(your) to send people(traffic) their way and when these people buy, you’ll earn a commission. Not all companies have the marketing force behind them or at least online and some do, but they will pay you on basis of sign ups, purchases, and more.
For example: A company like Amazon will hand you an “affiliate link” for a product that you can share with people, and when someone clicks through your affiliate link and they make a purchase - you make the commission!
Each retailer(we also call them merchants) have a unique commission percentage they are willing to give you. Like Amazon, they have anything from 2% as high as 10% depending on the category.
High Ticket Vs Low Ticket Affiliate Programs/Products
ONE thing I must inform you about today is that there is a difference in promoting smaller(low ticket) priced products that only product you a smaller commission than those that are higher priced products(high ticket) with greater commission percentages that will earn you more…

Great, you have an affiliate program but you still need the people to see your offers, how do you do it?
There are many ways to get traffic to your offers like:
- Paid Traffic

If you have more time than money, you spend more of your time on organic free traffic, but if you have less time and more money, you could run paid ads...
But with these companies and as a beginner, it's best to focus on FREE traffic, why?
For one, running paid ads to your product offers and getting them right will likely empty out your wallet or purse and for these affiliate programs, they're not always high earning commissions(besides clickfunnels) so it doesn't justify spending on paid ads at least from the start.
